Help with drum rack/ droping samples
Whats up ableton family, need help. Heres the problem Ive set up slicing presets so when i slice a clip to midi drum rack i have it set the way i want it, macro controls, choke velocity attack etc. Now say i drop a different sample to the same drum rack from a different clip or whatever it will not attomaticly follow the same presett comands, Its on its own how do I get it to automaticly have the same velocity macro assighnment as the rest of the samples in my drum rack. Ive seen a "droping samples preset" but have no clue how to use this function. Thanks for any help.
Re: Help with drum rack/ droping samples
Ya u have to make a template to put into that dropping samples folder.
Just drop a blank drum rack into a new track. Set it up the way you like, then drop it(w/ no samples in it) into that dropping samples folder and name it.
I'm pretty sure there a folder in there called "drum racks."
There's different folders for different devices so that when u drop in certain devices(samplers, simplers, drum racks) they will be set up how u want them to be
