Output Midi track to audio track

I am trying to record a single midi tracks output on an audio track in Ableton. The reason is because I want to be able to tweak effects as the track plays and record it to an audio track as I do it. Is there a way to record the output of a single midi track onto an audio track as it plays?

create an audiotrack and set "audio from" to the miditrack you want to record from.
and don't forget to RTM
