any suggestions? i need something compact, with a lot of ins and outs. right now i am looking at the motu; mk3 ultralite. i like everything i've ready about it, but i've yet to read a review from an ableton user. i'm looking for something around $600.

The cuemix software / newer motu series have a design flaw where master volume levels are set in software. If u don't have a Mackie big knob or some type of attenuator it is a real PITA.
I sold my 828 and decided to use my firebox. It was always rock solid; I plugged it in and it worked.
