help with the basic

i have tried a few patches on max and it works fine..but i dont know why this small patch is not working..as in i dont hear any sound....please help..wat am i doing wrong..i checked the dsp as well ..everything is fine..
its a cycle~ 440 attached a gain slider which inturn is attached to ezdac~ (speaker) ..can u tell me how to attach a picture..i will attach it...i did click on image but [img]:[/img] is coming..dont know how to get about!

That's what is supposed to "come." That's the code of the patch you've made. You don't need to put image html tags around the code.

So what exactly is your problem with this patch? I'm hearing sound just fine from it. Are you clicking on the EZdac to turn on audio? Have you checked your own sound card to see if you're getting sound from other sources? What kind of sound card are you using?

well yes..thats when the when the speaker turns yellow...i increase the gain fader and i cant hear anything...i tried the other patches i made and i can hear..this one i dont know wats happening....im just using the MAC core audio for now..in the dsp i have selected core audio!
