A Question To Live's Internal Summing Process!

hey out there,

when i listen to project i have done in live and then export it in 24bit, 32bit and 16bit - it will sound different to my ears. and this results in a situation that i'm not sure if i mixed my project well.
... is Live using 64bit internal summing or only 32bit?!
... 'cos some1 told my cubase is only using 32 bit internal summing.

Almost it's 32bit float overall and 64 bit wherever signals "cross" (mixing points).

with signal crossing u mean when it goes over 0dB or i'm wrong. or what od u meant by crossing in detail?!
