How to move ALL automations for a clip in arrangement view?
How to move ALL automations for a clip in arrangement view?
Is there a way to do this? im trying to move everything over and highlighting and moving isnt working, neither is cutting and pasting... I figured there is an easier way that moving each individual envelope..

move to another track? or move on teh same track?
if on the same track, just lock enveloppes to clips, move the clips, unlock and move back clips in position

what is lock envelopes to clips? Im not on my comp with ableton.... not sure where that option is??

i forget the old padlock in the top cheers
to copy automation
unfold the automation lane

select the automation 'copy' and 'duplicate' work
to paste select an area to paste from

but its gotta be from the expanded automation lane (if using hot keys) or it will copy the part and automation. but there is a right click option copy automation too.
I sometimes right click the control with the red dot at the bottom of live (the automated control) to show the automation
then the plus to add it in a new lane
