I've followed this series from the beginning and it is interesting to see how the villains in each season are getting bigger in the sense of market capital. From doing their own small business via the local crazy dealer to Guy with the Chicken franchise and the Mexican cartel.

Now, Guy's company is owned by a German cartel and there's an interesting reason why the Mexican cartel boss didn't originally kill Guy due to his Chilean connections. Me thinks there's an ex-Nazi world-wide conglomerate that comes into picture in the final season.

I loved the way season 4 ended. Realy nice touch with Gus walking out of the room and fixing his tie. Brilliant!

I tried and failed to enjoy it.
Also recently tried and failed to enjoy Terra Nova, Fringe, Twin Peaks.

Watched the first episode of Caprica recently. Might be worth sticking with.

Terra Nova and Fringe are utter shit. Never got into Twin Peaks either.

I downloaded the first season of Deadwood and am gonna give that a go even though the show is long over and was only 3 seasons long.

"Everybody Loves Raymond" reruns are always on in the evening.....even on Mondays. One can never get their fill of Frank's cloddish behavior.

In that case I also recommend the documentary Exporting Raymond which follows the head writer to Russia where they want to do their own version of the show and it doesn’t exactly translate well into Russian culture.

I wanted to like Terra Nova, but it is looking more and more like a waste. I hate the stupid way they tease the viewer about the real purpose of the colony and that two of the first four episodes had basically the same plot (simplistic salvation through drugs/pheronomes). They didn't spend ANY money for good writers.

Yep, a family TV series, gave up on Terra Nova after 1.3 episodes.

I heard they finally came through with a pilot after much internal wrangling and upheavel. "Everybody Loves Vodka". Apparently it's "Da Bomb" all the way up to the the tundra and beyond. :P
