I downloaded the first season of Deadwood and am gonna give that a go even though the show is long over and was only 3 seasons long.
I wanted to like Terra Nova, but it is looking more and more like a waste. I hate the stupid way they tease the viewer about the real purpose of the colony and that two of the first four episodes had basically the same plot (simplistic salvation through drugs/pheronomes). They didn't spend ANY money for good writers.
Too much idle chit-chat and stupid filler shit in between the sparse dinosaur attacks and other cruddy CGI rubbish. I guess they figured that dude from Avatar could cary this white elephant. Even the precept is cornball - look at the dwellings, armaments, clothing, etc. - how would they have transported all of those materials a few million years back in time? I fart in the general direction of this show. These types of shows never pan out on TV. They just don't have the budgets to do them justice and we as the consuming public have been spoiled by the big cinema productions.

If you have an extremely short attention span and enjoy a mess of a show check out American Horror Story. The first episode, and I mean first episode ever, flows like it’s a recap of the previous season. A lot of characters and scenarios being tossed around at random.

I really want to hate it but then I made the mistake of going to the show’s forum expecting a lot of people to be saying what a piece of shit it is, but instead found a lot of “and what do you think that meant/represented?” posts which unfortunately got me curious as well.

The second episode is just as crap as the first, and yet I’ll press on. Fuck. :x

Fuck, give me the History Channel or Animal Planet anyday. Or how about that show with Lee Emery checking out weapons and blowing shit up...now that's some good Frito munching entertainment for ya.

I recommend anyone who is looking for something good to watch, to check out Spaced.
Simon Pegg in his best (early) years doing a very geeky British sitcom with more pop culture references than you can shake a light sabre at.

Also... hmmm I'm trying to think of any TV that rocked my world recently...

oh yeah..
BBC - Empire Of The Desert Ants.
Possibly the most fascinating, and beautiful wildlife documentary I've ever seen.

Also sample heads, check out Dublabs Secondhand Sureshots.

Inspiring, especially if you're into hip-hop, beats, etc.

If you're talking fucking great shit, watch "Callan," a '60s Brit spy show starring Edward Woodward. It is fucking beyond excellent. Best show EVER, despite the low budget.
Heimat, a German miniseries, is fabulous, too . . . But the pacing is sloooooooow and there is no action (so it might not be to the taste of many).

Haven't heard of that one; it sounds really cool. Thanks! (probly has some good sampling worthy soundtrack parts, too:p)
Damn, he played the Sergeant in Wicker Man, too; nice!

Wasn't he in the Wire too? I deserve a slap in the face for not seeing it yet.

Watch him in the movie "Fresh." He's very good in a great movie.

The last episode of this season? Nothing short of STELLAR.

"I won."

omfg.

Next season I predict the total and long awaited return of Heisenberg. Hat and all.

Heisenberg will totally absorb all remnants of Walt's personality. Jesse will revert to the one that is sane and wants out.

Cool Chemistry shit, almost non-existent in this season, will finally re-emerge and be Walt's arsenal ala Bond and his gadgets. Loved past episodes where he gains an upper hand through chem. lol. Was shocked that the super genius chemist character trait - which began the entire meth involvement, ffs - seemed to have been forgotten.

:x
I came for the
But stayed for the :x

Just watched all 4 seasons back to back. Very good. Personally this is better than The Wire.
