Ditching Windows for an iMac -- questions

I need a new computer and I'm going to make the jump to a 27" iMac, and I was wondering what I need to know and/or do to transfer my Ableton Live 8.2 Intro to my new computer? Is there a FAQ on this somewhere? Are there any potential "gotchas" I need to be aware of?

the main thing you will probably come up against is opening old sets that have PC VSTs in them.
