Well, some headphones fit, some dont. Usually small earbuds have extra slim plug. DJ or studio headphones dont. Exept my Sennheizer H580. They fit! I just bring one of the smaler headphones when im walking outside, etc. At home, I cut the plug of a cable to fit it, for the stereo. You can cut your headphone plug if you like. But be very carefull! Personally I wouldnt do that.. You could probably get a slim extension plug that would fit..

At least it's just the case. I remember when I got the 1st iPhone and had to take an xacto knife to the plug of my $300 Shure's to get them to work!

No coding required. That's a TouchOSC template: http://hexler.net/software/touchosc

Just drop interface elements into the visual editor, map to MIDI/OSC values as required, and you're off to the races.

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by APC version. A companion controller for the APC, or something that completely replicates the functionality of the APC? If it's the latter, that doesn't really exist, though I suppose LiveControl is closest (I think that may be what ze2be was referring to), but your sig indicates you're already using Touchable. It and Griid are worlds ahead of LiveControl, which isn't under active development any longer.

thanks guys,

I do use TouchABLE and love it, but just want a simple one page OSC version, that when i push the, send a, send b, send c, user 1 etc that the faders would then revert to control these perimeters. I did this mock up on touchOSC editor and I use OSCulator, and I know how to map all the settings but just not the items above.

I guess I am trying to re-invent the wheel :)

thanks

If you're using OSCulator you should be able to link controls such that you can use the same set of faders for multiple functions depending on the state of a toggle.

However, you're right that once you reach the point that you're trying to build more sophisticated controls you're better off if you know how to Python and can take advantage of the remote script/Live API.

iOS 5 natively supports AU plugins—maybe a VST wrapper?
