I have live lite 8, I downloaded the most recent version to make sure this wasn't the problem.
Problem:
MPK25, MPD32, APC40
None of them work with Live right now. I've already looked to see if they work with their respective editors (MPD, MPK) and they do.
It's sort of out of the blue this error. As a few weeks ago all of them worked fine, I had a small computer crash and I can't recall if I have successfully used them after this or not. I have no other problems with my computer right now.
If the MPD or MPK is plugged into my labtop while loading Live, it will freeze and not open on the "Creating a new Live Set ... ..." stage of the program opening.
Live will open immediately, if I un-plug the device.
The APC does not retard the opening process and seems to work fine, until you press a 'track select' button. Then it acts as if the APC is not there anymore or has been unplugged.

Also very interesting with the APC is that while it's still 'working' and the volume controls still work. If I go to Edit Midi-Map and select a knob it shows a massive amount of different settings being activated all at the same time... E.G. select a send knob and watch as a large amount of numbers go haywire on the knob 1/7 2/7 3/7 4/7 5/7 1/22 then back to 1/7 moving very quickly up and down in this manner.
Also it's showing a volume knob wiggling on the first level mixer of the APC (related, I'm sure)
Things I've checked:
USB cables, I've tried three
Restating computer, numerous
Restarting Live, Numerous
So have you guys run into this at all??
Is it live? Is it my computer?
I can't imagine it is all three controllers... Though they were in my trunk for a while... could they have been over-heated???
Thoughts?
