All demo song in their site sound bad. I think Circle's sound is epic fail. No liveness in their sound. Dull sound.

@pencil rocket

This is something that we are aware of. SoundOnSound also pointed it out in their review of Circle:

"Circle....is equally at home producing both ‘traditional’ big, fat analogue synth sounds and those of an experimental nature. However, the factory presets arguably tend to lean too much towards the quirky and experimental, giving the impression that Circle sounds rather cold and clinical. This is not the case, and it would be good to see some more ‘bread-and-butter’ analogue sounds amongst the presets to prove the point."

To remedy this we have a soundcloud group for artist tracks that feature Circle, check it out here:

Your online store keeps rejecting my card details. Sent emails to both info & support but not heard back yet, other than the automted response.
Don't you want my money?

I think it does a fairly poor job at analogue emulation. Maybe it's the filters.

Still, it does some interesting droney abstract stuff if that's what you're into.

Very cheap, considering the spec.

I bought this synth. £119 beautiful pounds of hard earned money.

My computers Logic Board failed.
Bought another Computer.
Couldn't register my Circle synth because it had already had been registered. I tried support, no response.
Tried and tried. etc....... ZZZzzzzzz..no response.
Bought another Synth.
Thanks for the memories Gavin.

That's a disgrace. Needs to be addressed PRONTO.

Tell everyone, until you at least get a response.

No digital distributer should hesitate about sorting out any paying customers.
It's not like replacing a rare china teapot... its lines of CODE, that you payed for.

I have read on their site that support is bad also. kinda sucks because this synth has the best interface out right now. but since it obviously lacks the simple ability to pan oscillators left or right and support seems to be crap.. whats the point?

i remember this synth from 2008 and really not much has changed with it besides it doesnt seem to be so buggy that you cant even test it.

i hope they get it together or sell it off to some one who will get it together for them.

It seems to be getting processed now  thats made me chuckle.
It was actually a Great VST at the time. Built-in OSC support was a great feature.
Like other people say, the presets were not very usable but when programmed properly it was Mint!
Very Frustrating that i couldn't use it!
Musically, i'm in better shape now, I don't know if i have a place for it alongside the likes of
Omnisphere, Trillian, Alchemy, SynthSquad etc etc...... 8)

@Nick, We apologize for dropping the ball with your support case for activation. It has been sorted out now.

@Nathan, Circle was used for all the synth parts on David Guetta's hit "Sexy Girl", as one head of a major label said of the song "It changed American music". The 4/4 beat now dominates the charts there and while David Guetta isn't Theo Parrish, I think that doors are opening for everyone in the underground. We're really proud of the small part Circle played in all this. So to say Circle is usable is simply not true. We are working on shaking out the remaining issues, if you want to help out visit our forum and join in the beta testing thread :)

I'm going to stop posting here as it is another companies forum, but again, if anybody wants to chat about Circle just send us a mail through to [email protected] or start a thread on our forum.

Gavin.
