How to make gate fade out slowly?

I'm wanting to use a side chain to trigger a noise oscilator when a kick triggers it. The thing is, I can get the gate to work, but it releases very abruptly-is there a way to make the release fade out instead of cutting out?

Did you have tried to tweak the release parameter of the gate (max = 750 ms)?
