CC-Midi Envelope Clip-Automation on a Hard-Synth

Post by EpikureeR » Sun Oct 30, 2011 12:35 pm

Hey there, I currently try to automate my external synth (Korg Radias) in the Midi Envelope Clip Automation.
The problem is that the values I draw into the envelope do only send randomly, so it does not get constant results, it sounds everytime different.
Everything should be set properly (Midi Channel on the synth, sync etc.).
Does anyone have a clue what might be up to it?

Find your options.txt file see here.
open it in a text editor and add:

-MidiEventThinning=0

you can also add:

-ThinningAggressiveness=0

which affects how smoothly live records automation.

Save and close.

Strange, it works here.

There is one other entry you might want to try

-NoMidiEventFiltering

I've uploaded my options.txt file to dropbox if you want to try it, just copy it over you're existing one.
