Hoping someone could help with this question:
I've got a tenori-on which I want to use synced up to an SPD30 drumpad (without using ableton live) As I don't want to use the onboard sounds of the tenori-on, I'm considering getting a waldorf blofeld.
I’m not sure this set up will work though. I’m wondering:
if I set the tenori-on as the master, send its MIDI out to the SPD30 and then send the SPD30s midi out (which can be selected as a midi thru) to the blofeld, will the SPD30 still recognise the clock sync from the tenori-on even though its midi note data is being sent as midi thru? And will the tenori-on midi data be successfully transmitted to the blofeld even though it’s not a direct connection?
Cheers,
Nick
Midi Thru question...
Re: Midi Thru question...
The idea of midi-through is that the exact signal which comes to midi-in will be sent to midi-through!

Cheers Roxx!!
But will the sync signal transmit straight through too, or will this be able to drive the SPD30s clock?
That was my main question, just got tied up in the specifics!
