Easy
Does anyone have links to good live sets that are not necessarily DJ sets? Either pure live p.a. or a mix of DJing and live p.a. - pure ableton or a mix of ableton and hardware.
I've never had the chance to see a proper live p.a. with ableton, and the only Live DJ set i've ever seen was Surgeon (played a wicked set). I'm sure he was mixing up his own loops aswell, but it was still more of a DJ set.
Thanks in advance

My old buddy Omar is the keyboard/DJ/Ableton section of the band Ill Nino. They're a nu-metal band. If you can find any live recordings of them from the past year I'm sure he's got his laptop on stage and he's busy tweezing some sound with Live.
I haven't seen the guy since we worked together. It's been a while. Honestly, I haven't tried to find any of their music online, so I'm not sure what you'll find. Omar is awesome though. We got into Live at the same time and we used to make some sick stuff together. I just can't take nu-metal. Ill Nino is really good, it's just not my thing.

Check out the Mutek site. They document a lot of their performances, and virtually every Mutek performance is a Live set these days. Mike Shannon, Deadbeat, Monolake, Portable....
