Music Theory Utility Version 2

Post by DangarStu » Sun Nov 06, 2011 9:42 pm

Hi all

I've now upload a new version of my theory tool that has an improved keyboard and a second tab for figuring out chords. It still needs a bit of work but it's getting there...

I'm hoping to eventually make it a bit of a Swiss army knife of music theory, so the next tab I am planning is for transposing songs. Any other suggestions are most welcome.

New version running here: http://jacl.animats.net/fastcgi-bin/kielbasa.jacl

Regards,
Stuart

I would expand the chords used.

I like this site to look at stuff that I forget. http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/ I always prefer to look at things in terms of the piano for some reason even though I started out playing g uitar/cello.

That site might be you some ideas to expand too

great ideas

I agree. Fortunately I got all the hard work out of the way earlier on so adding new chords is no harder than entering their "formulas". Next version will have much more. ;)
