Can anyone tell me how to re enable a plug-in? The file I'm working on has a Nexus 2 plug-in used and the key for it crashed, so every time I try and save or delete the midi track, Ableton crashes. The support people at reFx told me I need to re enable to plug in in the plug-in manager. I've tried rescanning and refreshing the plug-ins in the brower and preferences window. Their next solution was to schedule a remote desktop preference and I really don't like the idea of giving someone access to my computer over the internet (All my music software was purchased legally, all thats legit, I'm just worried about general security and don't want open my machine up like that.)
Anyone know how I go about re enabling a plug-in?

Re: Re enabling a plugin
I think you can hold alt, or Mac 'option', while pressing rescan in preferences ... and that super-forces it to look again at plugins which have been marked as bad.
that may/may not work
good luck
