when i turn the volume knob counterclockwise on my car stereo, the bass and treble go down... mids too.

Live's master volume and iTune's volume are independent of one another. you can turn one up and the other down from either application. the difference is that Live gives you labeled meters to measure the file's output accurately... barring any settings interfering during export.

actually, if you do a search, you are not the only one. its just people get tired of answering the same question over and over again for people who do not know how to use the search function.
