When I am editing midi notes in a Live 8 clip, I have noticed that after I select some notes and make an adjustment , the notes I had selected shortly deselect themselves after I start playing the clip.
This is extremely annoying because it means that every time I wish to make a new adjustment I have to stop the clip looping and reselect the same notes again!
In Live 7 the notes stay selected until you click elsewhere.
What is the benefit of the notes deselecting themselves like that?!
Is there a workaround?
Keeping midi notes selected while playing back a clip
Re: Keeping midi notes selected while playing back a clip
i have the exact same question. Except mine does it even when the clip is NOT EVEN PLAYING!! What setting changes this? This isn't a default setting in Live 8, it's worked fine for me up until today, what is going on??
All i want is for the note to stay selected until i click on another note!!!
I've tried turning everything off in my MIDI preferences, and that didn't help. i do lots of editing in MIDI, and this is killing me, someone help please!
