I use a lot of Song Tempo-automation live for connecting to songs - sliding from the tempo of the first song to the tempo of the next song.
To be precise with the tempo (BPM) you have to define the minimum and maximum view, so you can drag all the way to the top and bottom, so that automation/envelope (maybe that's not the same...) will be exactly fx 117.00 and not 117.12. But how can I be precise with the beginning and ending points? I can't snap to the grid (like you can in most places), but I have to move the spot around with the mouse. If I zoom in it will often not be precise - then I adjust, zoom in again, adjust again and so on. It's annoying me a lot.
I need to be precise because I export some tracks from a small/short Live set (fx two songs with their tempos connected) and have to make the exact same automation/envelope for the Song Tempo in my big/long Live set (containing all songs for a certain live show). I can copy and insert the automation/envelope within a Live set, but I can't copy from one Live set to another, like a can with MIDI clips and samples.
So that's two annoying things, I wish they would make better. Or is it just me that do it wrong?

I've found the answer. If I use Draw Mode it will snap to the grid
