How do you change key commands?

Hi all,

i just wondered if anyone knew how to change key commands in Live 8?

I've got the list of all the key commands but there's a few i'd like to change.

Hi!

Go to System Preferences->Keyboard->Application Shortcuts
(it's the last one in my list but I'm using a german version of Mac OS)

Then with the little + Add Ableton Live and subsequently enter the exact name of the Function you want to change the shortcut for.

Don't mind sub-menus just enter the name (even with ...)

Hi,

I just tried it, but it didn't do anything. I set the up arrow to zoom in, but when i press it nothing happens. I'm finding it really hard to understand why on earth they don't have their own key commands editor.

luckily the hard-coded keyboard commands are easy to remember, such as: 'b' for the bleistift
who could forget that?

I wouldn't even care about editing the default ones if there were just more of them. So many functions I use all the time in Live don't have dedicated key commands.

Like Envelope, Crop, Freeze (how about a Freeze & Flatten 2-fer-1?).

Not like those are common commands or anything
