Hi,
I'm looking to buy a mixing desk/control surface to use with Live 8 for production, mixing, and mastering. I miss the tactile input when it's all done in the box. I already have an Edirol PCR-500 which allows a degree of input but it is a crude and not very satifactory method. I was looking at the PreSonus 16.0.2 or maybe 16.4.2 but am not quite sure how much control these would give. Anyone have experience with these or maybe suggest some alternatives please?
Thanks in advance.

Best mixing desk to use with Live?
Re: Best mixing desk to use with Live?
If you have the money you should check out Allen & Heaths Zed R-16. Mixer, control surface and firewire audio interface all in the same package. It only has 60mm non motorized faders though. Otherwise it seems like a really nice mixing desk.
