I hope this makes sense.
I routed Maschine Midi channels to Audio tracks, so that each pad would play in a different tracks. I then grouped them all under a generic name, Maschine Audio Route... So far so excellent. My question is, how can I Save this Group of tracks so I can just open it in other Sets whenever I wanna use Maschine? Can I save it as an Instrument Rack somehow? Or I would always have it saved as a set, open it, and then bring in other tracks/instruments from other sets into it?
Thanks for any hints...
How to make an Instrument out of Grouped tracks...

Wouldn't it be an audio rack? I would just press save on the rack after renaming. It then will be a preset you can use again in other sets. You could save the set you have made as a default... So it loads up with Live.

just select the tracks and drag them to your Library/Templates folder in the browser.vinitchi wrote:how can I Save this Group of tracks so I can just open it in other Sets whenever I wanna use Maschine? in the browser, name the set 'Maschine Routings' or whatever.
now you can drag the set into any existing/new projects, and all tracks and routings will be intact.

Yep! Did just that and it worked. My mistake was trying to drag the grouped tracks to an instrument rack folder... I just needed to save it as a template.
Thanks for the input guys!
