Zero sl mkII and other cheap keyboard or 49 sl mkII

looking for a rig that is customizable for different live gigs and studio use. thought the 49 might be a bit cumbersome and take up too much space to tote around if I was going to do a gig where i did not need a keyboard. Theory is to find a low cost 49key controller keyboard that has enough quality to it (I don't need a bunch of knobs and stuff, that's what the Zero would be for), if not just buy the 49 sl.

any thoughts, any rigs set ups like this that do both stage and studio?

if you will have gigs where you didn't need a keyboard this is what I'd do. But why stop at a good 49 key keyboard? If you're going to have one just for the studio why don't you get a nice 88key full weighted, etc.

I have a pretty nice workstation I use in the studio but its way to big to take along on gigs. I guess what I am looking for is ether a tough 49 key keyboard that I can bring to gigs if I need it combined with the Zero SL or just get the 49 SL. I am thinking I would rather not have a keyboard attached to the Novation sl just in case I want more room here and there. The hard part is finding a 49 key gig board that won't break and does not take up to much room.
