padKontrol not regognized

Hello,

I just setup my new padKontrol, installed the drivers, rebooted the pc, but it still not recognized by ableton...

Did you try selecting PadKontrol in the surface menu to see if that added midi options at the bottom?
I might've seen it happen that way with newly installed gear...

I did.. There is nothing about the padKontrol in the Input droplist..

Sometimes I have to close ableton unplug things and restart it to get it to see apc, padkontrol, etc. On win 7 i just plugged it up and it was recognized. Sometimes trying all usb ports can help fix things. I remember having some issues with getting things to work on vista but never worried about it and went back to xp.

I'm sure you've tried all this but it's what works for me on win 7

Ok thanks guys i figured out.
My mistake was to download the lastest driver from the website. I removed them completly, and install the old one from the CD. works perfectly
