Re: iPad
fek, if animoog ran on an ipod touch I'd get the touch right this minute, I need a tiny setup that you could go jogging with
and whenever you got tired you could just take a break and make a beat ......did you see what i did there?
there's no chance in hades that an ip3 (yes I did just coin the greatest newest and bestest apple phrase right before your eyes) will show up by christmas right?

You can use Beatmaker 2 and NanoStudio on an iPod Touch, and others I'm just not remembering right now.

Re: iPad
yeah but animoog is the one, I'm not so keen on those beatmaker apps to be honest. I know allot can be accomplished with them but they feel kind of goofy in my hands, but Animoog, samplewiz, and tabletop are my reasons for getting the ipad. I have a questions though,
what is the best sequencer for the ipad that I could use to sequence animoog and samplewiz with?

Re: iPad
I read books on my iPad every single day. It's fine. No, its FANTASTIC.
You guys make it sound like its nearly fucking impossible. ffs.
If you're sitting on a beach in full 90deg sunshine then, yeah, there's glare.
If its too heavy for you then, honest to FUCK, you should consider buying a purse to match your high heels as opposed to buying a dedicated reader.
Besides, if you read hard cover books do you honestly sit around and actually hold them up in front of you? No. You prop them or support them.
I made a simple decision: if I'm going somewhere I don't want to lug around my fucking eReader and my iPad. ffs. That's the whole POINT of these tablets. TO MINIMIZE YOUR SHIT THAT YOU HAVE TO LUG AROUND.

Awesome review.
Lets be clear: 70% of what he's bitching about is ANDROID.
20% is the woefully underpowered spec and other retarded hardware moves.
10% is Amazon fucking with the OPEN SOURCE Android.

Re: iPad
I just dropped $150 to get The Beatles box set on iTunes.
Shockingly my bank rejected my first attempt. No amount of money I drop at the Apple store or iTunes should be questioned. My banking history should stand as proof.

Re: iPad
What Amazon needed to do...again...is create their own incredible OS. I'll never understand how a company like that...which clearly has the financial resources needed...would want to attach themselves to Google. wtf? With more end-to-end control they could have actually followed the Apple model and kept things tight.
Jebus, they're the closest thing to Apple without actually being Apple. They have a massive retail/rental online presence. They've got solid deals with every single media company out there. If they'd done their own OS then a customer never, in theory, would have ever needed a reason to leave the Amazon ecosystem.
Now?
Now, they're at the fucking MERCY of Google and a 3rd party OS.
ffs.
