Asio drivers dont work - i7 Win7 Focusrite Saffire 6

Intel powered PC, I7 chipset+ windows 7. Setting audio in Live 6 - Focusrite drivers dont work. Downloaded ASIO4all and now with tone on it pulses for 90% of the range of CPU power etc almost whatever settings I use. When I run REASON it runs for 1 sec stops runs stops. Why is this?

For information;

spoke with Focusrite today - seems that Saffire 6 can be affected by the Intel i series chips. They are understanding how the chip works with there products and are working the solution.

Usual solutions - latest drivers from website..

One option is to go to Control Panel / devices ad ensure USB driver is in root!

deleted asio4all deleted all other drivers.Checked that Focusrite drivers linked to root.

Loaded latest driver from website and.........

it all works
