Re-arranging return tracks

Is there any way to "re-arrange" return tracks other than to copy and paste the effects between the two, and then go through each track one by way and change the levels sent to each track? I've searched for hours...surely I'm not the only want that simply wants to make my "C" return track my "D", etc?
