Any programmers here?
I'm curious if the Ableton community has any programmers or developers here? More especially, any programmers who work on audio/music related projects.

Re: Any programmers here?
i'm a programmer in training (kind of).
I'm in my second year in university but first year as a computer science major. Switched from Health sciences. Not 100% sure what I'm going to do in the future (strong possibility in medicine) but no matter what I'd do I'm planning to do a bit of plugin developing on the side. Maybe start a small small profit company from it. Similar to ValhallaDSP.

Yes. I can do whatever I want with PC - I can even order it to make me a sammitch. No but seriously, here are plenty of developers/programmers, including me.

I wonder what everybody envisions when they think of a sandwich. Probably not this unless you're Belgian:timothyallan wrote:Yes.

Yes,
I'm pretty handy with Java and Ruby, and a bit of C++ and Objective-C.

Re: Any programmers here?
I'm wondering what languages any programmers may use. I want to improve on my skill set and get more involved in programming. I'm looking at Python however I want to make sure to work in something I can connect to my interest in audio and music. I'm looking for suggestions.

If I had to just stick with one it would be C++. There are so many great resources out there it's easy to spend a week with a different language and get a feel for each one, but I'd just jump in at the deep end with C++estevan carlos benson wrote:I'm wondering what languages any programmers may use.
