Ableton live Intro newbie

Post by david.barker » Mon Nov 28, 2011 5:11 pm

Hi there

I am new to Ableton and just got Ableton Live Intro,as a buddy for my Reason 6 software, hoping to use some exciting Vst plugins within Ableton and create new sounds with both softwares :D

ok I have had a quick play with the demo version of Live intro, and was wondering ,how can I import audio from Ableton into Reason?
I understand that Reason is the slave and Ableton is the master (sounds like one of those Star War's films ,lol) :D
As I would like to tweak the sound in Ableton and record it into Reason using its mixer

I understand the usual method is to import the sound, track as a wav file.

Just wondering is there is another easier way

any advice would be appreciated :D

if you're asking if there's a solution built into the rewire protocol, there is not. I imagine you could do it via soundflower.
