ableton 8 and fantom g
Im having a hard time being able to play fantom g sounds through ableton tracks.. any help is really appreciated! Thanks
Re: ableton 8 and fantom g
Fantom G audio out run that to an audio interface. (I am using M-Audio ProFire 610.)
So now the Fantom G sound is going into the computer.
Then in Ableton you set it up under the Live/Preferences/Audio you set as your audio input device, your audo interface (For me the M-Audio ProFire)
So now Ableton hears your audio from the Fantom G.
Then to record a track, you make sure under the Audio From on your mixer channel is Ext. In, and that the box below that says 1/2 or 3/4 whatever you have set up your audio interface to output into the computer. You arm the track by pushing the record arm button and off you go.
