I was about a second away to buy a Lemur over iPad, yet i didn`t, now i have iPad 2 and i can not be more satisfied with it, running Griid, KapturePad and TouchOSC at the same time and everything just works flawlesly....
But i think 50$ for Lemur App is a little bit too much....30$ is what i would give.

wow, just wow!

the rumours that have been going about are true.
I look forward to trying this!

Its awesome theyve got pre-made templates too, especially full control of ableton and including broken down elements too. Means I can create a template per song and have unique controls for each - i.e some might need a clip launcher, some might not if its automated in live.

I'll definitely be investing.

does lemur only run with Max for Live?
Or is it only some of the templates?

The ableton full control one seems to suggest you need Max for Live.

You do need M4L to run Mu, but M4L is not necessary to use the Lemur app in general.

But having M4L can expand the possibilities of what you can do with the Lemur app, for sure.

Seems like i`m gonna give those 50$ anyway, now i see it has everything the real Lemur does, and uses the same editor, so yes, it is totally worth it :!:
Tomorrow is my lucky day.

So as far as it's functionality in Live wihtout using Max for Live, is it essentially a complex midi controller? I mean, do you have to use Live's midi learn ir instant mapping for everything, or are there some other tricks? For example I notice that it talks about being able to make your own template for Live devices. If one was to make an operator template, would you have to manually learn all the parameters, making it therefor global mapping in the set, or could you use your own custom layout and have it control any instance of operator that you click on (blue hand).

Sibanger,

Yes I use Griid, Touchable, TouchOSC and MidiTouch.
I'm hoping that Lemur might be able to replace all of the above for gig performances mainly. As I can still see myself using TouchAble (and griid for the step sequencer) still in the studio.
I'd be using Lemur to create custom controllers for each song when playing a live gig as different songs will need different controls.

No clip editing capabilities it seems... (Like griid and LiveControl[TouchOSC])

Runing it right now, with Griid and Kapture, works perfectly, the only thing i do not like is when i switch from Lemur to Griid, physics balls stop to move, when i switch to Lemur again, they continue :(
