autoFilter note restart/retrigger

Post by veto88 » Mon Dec 05, 2011 5:03 am

hi,

i kind of want to reset/retrigger the lfo of the auto filter (or other ableton effect tools) when a new midi note plays.

Any way of achieving that?

(i think i remember the Logic autofilter having that option)

thanks

the nearest you ca get to that is to use the envelope settings

for instance ..you might want to try
using synced clip envelope loops
instead of the lfo knob to create that effect..

I see your point
Allthow is comes down to drawing envelopes again.
And even drawing more envelopes to quickly try out different speeds shapes etc.
Its not that i cant create the result, but i seek a flexible method doing so... being able to experiment quickly.
...where dummy tracks take you just half way i think... in this case

thanks
