The present perceived standard of quality of live music is mistakenly assumed to be the highest attainable. All musical instruments are constructed mainly from 'dead' wood or refined metals. The excitation of these materials by mechanical means during the playing of music, produces energy patterns, on the instruments and radiated to the listener by varying air pressures, which are incompatible with the human senses. If the P.W.B. Quantum Clip is attached to any musical instrument, a profound change to the perceived sound will take place from that musical instrument.

This one was also very clarifying.

but in the context of this debate that actually means that there are actually substantial reasons why people COULD prefer analogue - when judging in terms of personal taste etc.... that clearly shows that Analogue is doing something different

when it becomes stupid is when people start comparing digital systems with thresholds below human hearing etc...... analogue is just on the edge....

still, I personally think it's bollocks and would just as happily use the inbuilt mic of my laptop to create a sound source.

the point is more about people intellectualising this shit too much and forgetting about just making music.

That's absolutely right! Most people are just interested in buying gear, not so much in creating something new and amazing. Nothing wrong with that, as long as is admitted that that's the case. Strangely enough the analog freaks are usually also the ones with the macs and the iphones. It's a strange world out there...

My analog laptop feels much warmer and crisper when I touch it.

really feel you on this one!

that being said though, if it wasn't for the few things i've picked up through a million different trials, i'd end up sounding just like everybody else on this forum..
