So, according to the manual, you should be able to set follow times that are not in regularly quantized intervals. Supposedly all you have to do is set Global Quantization to None, but when I tried this, my clips still move to the next follow action at exactly 1 bar. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Odd Foilow Times?

and in addition, you set the follow action to the desired length?chumpchange wrote:all you have to do is set Global Quantization to None...

see, maybe i'm misreading this, but according to the manual, "as long as Global Quantization is set to "None," you can drag the loop markers in the clip to any position in time to make this the position where the Follow Action will occur."
I have done this, and the Follow Action still occurs at exactly one bar.

I have experienced similar problems with follow actions. Say you have a follow action set up to trigger after 4 mins. You set up the action, but don't want to wait for the 4 mins to see if the action triggers as expected. To "fast forward" through the track you can click and drag on the counter at the top of the screen. However shortly after you start fast forwarding through the track, it automatically jumps down to the actioned clip. If you lsiten through the entire 4 mins of the first clip though, the action completes as expected.
I'm not sure of this bug is there with smaller clips as I haven't tried, but this is a complete pain in the ass. It means that to audition any large clips with follow actions, you need to listen to all of the first clip in the series before you can hear the subsequent action. If you want to test out several trigger locations, this can obviously mean it's a long boring laborious process...

whoah, wait a minute. sorry if i sound dumb, but how do you set a follow time in terms of minutes and seconds? are you talking about just moving the loop marker? because this does not work for me. again, it stops playing at the end of the loop and doesn't do the follow action until whatever bar number is specified in the launch box. NOT immediately after the clip ends, which is what i want.
