Help: Automation track menus keep disappearing in arr. view

Hi,
It keeps happening that the dropdown menus that opens up each tracks automation parameters in arrangement view disappears if i click on the wrong thing, leaving me with only the track on/off, volume, panning.
does anyone know how to get the full menus back?

Yep - they're there, just not being displayed. By default the one automation lane shows the last-edited parameter, if I remember right. You can find the other automated parameters in the choosers (they'll have a red dot next to them, and there's a 'only show automated parameters' option).

If you want one of them to stay visible, select it in the choosers so that it's visible, and click the little plus sign in the corner near the choosers. The automation will show up in its own lane. You can make as many of these as you need if you have several parameters.

Why do they disappear do you know? One minute you have them all there in the menu, and you can select em at will. then click on the wrong thing and it becomes a tiny single automation lane just for the main track options. I can't see where to get em all back.

Oh, maybe I misunderstood - I had thought you meant that you only had one lane of automation (the default one) and it was changing to show other parameters.

If you're seeing multiple lanes disappearing, I'm not sure what's going on at all. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Can you post screenshots or a video showing the problem?

A chooser is another name for a pulldown or dropdown box. I believe it's the name that's used in the Live manual which is why I've been using it.

The Sub track has a normal dropdown menu. Able to select all plugins etc and then their parameters.

Oh, hm. Maybe you need to drag out the "chords" track's border so it's a little wider? Right now there's only space for one chooser so it's only got one showing. That's the only thing I can think offhand.

Hahaha, no problem! Glad I could help you figure it out.

Yeah, Live has a lot of things like that that are intuitive, but only if you know about them. When in doubt, move the mouse cursor to all the edges of something :)

you did not post how to. fix all I could see was dudes gratitude. my automation is doing the same thing please help
