Just starting out, producing trip-hop and ambient stuff.

Post by Effulgence » Tue Dec 20, 2011 1:25 am

Hey guys, I am new to the forums and glad to be here with the community. I used Fruity Loops at first but have moved to Live. I am loving it much more than FL. I have messed around on FL for about a year or so now but didn't really get into it until 4 or 5 months ago.
If any of you guys could give me some feedback and constructive criticism I would greatly appreciate it. :)
I am a big fan of melodies as you will see. I like to make serene, relaxing sounds to create a smooth experience. Ajna is my newest track.

Thanks, see you guys around!

Big fan of these beats.

I'm from denver and am looking to start playing some shows in a couple of months. I'd say that our styles are different but close enough to play some shows together in the future.

What do you think? heres some of my beats here:

Thanks man! I am still a newbie when it comes to producing and I have a lot to learn still, but that sounds awesome. Let's keep it touch for sure! We definitely have some sort of similarity in our styles, kinda the hip-hopish vibes.
Your beats are awesome though, really cool atmospheres there.
What recommendations would you give me to advance my skills a little more? Maybe make my tracks a little more interesting?

nah man, that stuff is awsome, and i feel like your learning past the point where other people can help you much, and you just gotta keep playin around.

you sound like you really know what your doing, so keep on putting stuff out.
