take video out of sounds

Sooo I know this may be frowned upon, but it doesn't get release on beatport for another week..

I downloaded the video off youtube, and put it into ableton.

It's not showing any video till I play it.

Where exactly is the video part?? will it go to just straight audio when I save it, and will it be normal size.. I plan on playing it this weekend, and I need to fit it on a CD, not Mp3.

The video is embedded in the audio clip, hence the little film spokeholes on the audio clip. You can export to wav without the video file, just make sure the "create video file" option is turned off. Are you playing it for yourself, or at some event? because the compression scheme on youtube videos is pure garbage, and if it's for anything but your own listening, I'd just hold off until you can get a proper copy of the song in a decent format.

I'm playing a 1 hour set on the 23rd.. but I'll try it out by myself and see how it sounds.
