Locking items to a midi controller

Post by Goseba » Tue Dec 20, 2011 9:08 pm

Is it possible to lock multiple items to a midi controller so that they all remain in focus all the time?

Try right clicking on the title bar of the device and see if your controllers is listed in the window.

Sorry, I'm not at my music pc to try at the moment.

Basically I am thinking of using a launchpad to trigger different instruments and effects but don't want to have to have them in focus for it to work. I just want to set it up and be mouse/keyboard free while tapping away etc on my midi controllers.

I hope that makes more sense.

but by default as a midi remote script I would hope they're available. The launchpad is covered in the manual a little bit but it looks like the most it says is midi-mapping with a user mode...but maybe right clicking on a rack gives you an option for a specific launchpad mode.../shrug

If not, it's easier if you know you're going to use the same devices then you could set it as a template or do a workaround with a script.
