DEEEEEEEP house

Post by portunderground » Wed Dec 21, 2011 4:05 pm

Well.... Here it is.

Let me know on what you think. Any comment greatly appreciated!

Could have been more flowy though.

Interesting timing in your melody. Are you playing, programming or sampling the keys ?

Hats are a bit strong in the mix @ 1:32.....and beyond.

Like the general feel. Nice.... cruises along.

Keep working on it :)

Like a bit of Deep House and this hits the spot. As said, the keys are very nice and flow well throughout. The hi-hats are little prominent, I'd be tempted to give them a bit more stereo width as well as tone them down a little.

Would be inclined to add a touch of subtle compression here and there also to bring it a little more life, but the arrangement itself is tip top 8)

Hey thanks guys...

Yeah the hats; too much. Will work on that. And with stereo. I'd realised I need a little compression as well.

Im cool with St germain. Have one or two songs in my library... but not really a big fan.

Anyway, I just want to share with you guys some free VSTs that I discovered a couple of days back. It sounds awesome for something that is free. I think it'll be great to jazz or funk up your track.

Just a sample in my track that i'm still working on

SPREAD THIS and the love.
