hey
I set the range to 30 to 22000, but im strugling to get the live.dial to behave exact like AAS analog filter freq dial.
Im using live.remote~ to have the live.dial to control the AAS analog filter freq
Thanks
how should I scale a live.dial to correspond to Analog freq?

Have you set the Exponent on the live dial properties? Somewhere round 3.0 is a good start...

Thanks, I meant exponent, yes, but at 3 the Analog freq is 1khz when live.dial is 10khz
Should I specify the amount of steps?

Re: how should I scale a live.dial to correspond to Analog freq?
I initially assumed you hadn't tried messing with the exponent setting. After having a closer look, getting the correct scaling does seem to be elusive: nothing I've tried here - in an admittedly brief trial - including varying exponent and Number of steps has turned out to be consistent over the entire frequency range.
Perhaps there is an official explanation of the parameters/settings (and/or maybe its got to do with the fact that, unlike the M4L dials, they are 270 degree dials) for these Frequency controls. Failing that, or at least in the interim, you might just use the raw float values (0. - 1.) as a rough indication, rather than trying to translate from an approximated range...

Depending on what you've got in mind, you might want to consider
