Instruments glitching on there own

I have had this problem for a while and its just driving me nuts now.

I Load an instrument (doesn't matter if its native or 3d party) and the sound of it changes on its own

For example.

I have a 3d party synth, im playing along with it and suddenly its out of tune. If I reload the presets it goes back to normal... then does the same thing again
Another example, I have a piano preset from ableton. I had loaded a chorus and an autopan on the track. then i turned them off... even deleted them...
When I play its like they turn themselves on even though i deleted the plugins!
Same thing if I reload the presets it turn ok again for while an bang back to the ghost auto pan and chorus!
Its like someone is messing with parameters in the background...

I was thinking of getting a new hard drive soon.
I think I will start from a fresh install

Anyone else had problems like this?

I actually have the exact same issue.

mostly its the main "volume" of the midi instrument or the "pitch" of the instrument that switches itself.

it must be a glitch/bug in the version of live. it has been happening to me all year starting from the summer. im just now DLing the most recent version of LIVE to see if it still glitches out on me... its kinda weird, like a ghost in the machine... even some of the knobs start twitching themselves (very slightly) even when im not mousing on them... lol

anyhows, if you get to figure it out... please let me know.

uggghhhggg....

so i just upgraded to LIVE version 8.2.7 & it is still switching parameters on me by itself....

WTF????

i have no clue, but imma send an email to ableton now cause i cant even begin to think about why it does that or what is doing it...

lemme know if yu find out anything...
