Starting whole scene with follow action in Sessions View?

Is there any way to start a whole scene with follow actions?

I really like sequencing in the sessions view and automate the whole song, but I just don't know how
to automate the clips so that the whole next scene starts. the problem is that I can't get clips to automatically play that don't
have a clip in the scene before.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. But if you want follow action to work for scenes instead of tracks, you can do it with the IAC driver (if you're mac).

You just have to make the clips in a MIDI track launch the different scenes. Check out some of Tom Cosm's videos to learn about the IAC driver.

I've been inserting "dummy" clips with nothing but a follow action in the empty clip slots to do just what you're talking about and it's worked just fine for me. I've used the IAC (MIDIYoke on Windows) methods that deHaan linked to for launching clips - never tried it for launching scenes though...
