My Live 9 wishlist

1. 64 bit
2. Optional multiple windows
3. Curved automation
4. New gui design - the current gui looks dull and dated
5. Show/hide master (3d) spectrum analyser instead of clips - always displays master output so you have a visual of whatever is coming though the master fader
6. Large meters between plugins - it's difficult to see if clipping is occuring between devices
7. Master fader display inter sample peaks
8. Multiple templates
9. Show automation as clips (as in Reason) - makes it really easy to edit/move automation within a track
10. Volume automation relative to fader position
11. Simple noise generator (with filter) device
12. Spectrum analyser in EQ Eight (show/hide)

These a features I would like to see in Live 9 :)

what about single note automation?
So, putting different fx on any note you want....I seriously need that....

It's not something I'm missing - I don't think I would use it... but it would be a very cool feature nonetheless!
If you're playing/programming a monophonic melody you can automate the sends and thereby get different fx on different notes. You can also use the KEY function in an instrument rack to get a similar effect :)

wow now ur telling me interesting stuff....

Could u elaborate more?

Let me explain: I use a stylus RMX groovemachine and import the grooves into a midi track. However I want to ONLY automate the snares (put fx on it), under, say, note: C2.
Now one can say 'put the snare in a different midi-track' well that is exactly what I am trying to evade due to convenience.

So is there a way to do it already in Ableton?

Kindly answer :D

if you are using a drum rack you can put as many FX as you like on a single drum sound. Each sound is on a 'chain' and any device can go on that chain.

Forge, I know but you can't use another groovemachine for this.
Putting the Stylus as a groove machine in a chain makes the WHOLE groove get under one note.

What I want is use one note of the groove that comes from the Stylus, or any other instrument, and automate only the note I want to automate....
