effect and stuff

Hello !!! :mrgreen:

guys is there way 2 use effect with out audio for example doing delay effect on midi note for example? like i just wanted the effect sound instead of track i'm playing?

for ex i'm playing clips in DECK A and i want to make clips Called "EFFECT" which its has flanger delay and others?

if this can't be happened , do you think guys best is to record the effect and imported them? if yes how could i record them please?

The question is, what do you intend to do with the effects? Will you eventually put audio through them? Without any sound source, most of the effects will not do anything.

Using them on a Return channel though is nice. Or if you need to automate them, routing the return channel to an audio channel with dummy clips.

looks dummy clips will work perfect , any good tutorial in mind for dummy? i've been searching didn't find good one

Have a look at quantizecourses.com mate, think they posted one last week, either that or covertoperators.org did the original video guide on them that taught me....

I'm unsure of exactly what you are looking for. It kinda sounds like you want to record the effect full wet - no dry signal so you can mix it later. This is easy to do: create a new audio track, set the source to your track with the FX (make it post FX). In your FX, make them 100% wet. Play your tracks while recording the input on the new track. When you're done, disable the FX to hear your original track normally. There are other ways to do this, too, but this is the first one that came to mind.
