Hey all,
I've been using Live Intro for a while. Now that I'm really getting the hang of it and using effects, I'm finding myself constantly hitting the limit of effects (12 I think) you can use with Live Intro.
With the sale going on, I'm looking at upgrading to at least Live 8. There is also Live 8 Suite with the extra instruments....
My question is, for someone who isn't pro (yet?), is it worth it to go all the way to Suite? Are the extra instruments worth it? It looks like any single instrument is at least $100 individually.
How much does it cost to upgrade from Live 8 to Live Suite if I choose to hold off on Suite for the time being? And is it worth getting the full boxed version? I do like the idea of a hard copy manual.
Just looking for some honest opinions!
Andy

you could go get the demo of the full version right now...a month to decide..
i think suite is well worth it, i can't imagine not having the suite instruments...but it depends what you intend to do

get suite...25% off until sunday. if you only upgrade to LIVE 8, it won't take you long to want suite.

Good idea! I downloaded the free trial and got a 30 days license to save my work. I've only been using it for a couple hours and I'm already blown away. I'm finding a lot of cool stuff here... Think I'll have to take the plunge and get Suite

suite, I wouldn't want to be without sampler and operator. on the other hand I don't think I've suffered from having the download version. i don't use much of the supplied content/sample library and a pdf manual is fine.
