Audio Output problem

I am very new to Ableton,but have had it working. up until a couple weeks ago. I'm running a very simple setup as of now. M-Audio Axiom 49 into a Windows Vista 32 bit PC. Speakers are Logitach 5.1 Surround with standard 1/8 in. plug into the pc. I've gone through the setup wizards numerous time and everything seems to be right, but I have no audio coming out of the speakers. I can see that there is midi signal coming into Ableton. about ready to through it across the room since I can't figure out what seems like should be a simple problem!

Anybody got any suggestions for me?

go into live,s preferences and see that is recognizing your ins and outs and the keys, etc....and you comps sound settings...theres a break in the chain somewhere..

keep trying in the live preferences changing the input and outputs to see if any of them work

Well not sure exactly what it was that fixed it, but I kept messing around where you guys suggested and got it fixed! Thanks! Same thing that I had been doing. weird....
