since it is a wip i'll say i liked it, but it think there is still room for another sound/instrument or two...maybe greater variation in that main melody instrument...+ as it went along i imagined a female vocal, high above, almost like a pad, to kinda glue together the high end..not even words really just a note..but , lol, say that to all the boys...just an idea...production sounds very clean, and thanks for the follow on sc

Thanks guys for listening and commenting. As a wip, there will be more guitar, percussion, and efx eventually added. I would really like to get some female vocals, but can't seem to find anybody with the interest at the moment. I am just happy to be able to be musically productive, things can get really complicated as a "grown up", always something new to take time away from what we love...

Thank you for taking a listen. My tastes and inspirations lately have been very diverse and all over the board.

Sounds cool, had never heard of them. I am working on a track that features mainly vocals as well, working through building harmonies and trying to get the right balance of expression... fun times. :)

It is so cyclical but these days I am feeling the organic acoustic, folky, Americana vibe. A lot of emotion and a reoccurring social message of class and social equality that electronica is not the optimal genre to get that expression across. If you are guitar player at all, open G with a slide is endless fun!

An acquaintance of mine recently said this...
I like songs that have no spoken lyrics because lyrics seem to force a meaning to a song that doesn't always suit the listener. The best songs always let the music speak for itself.
IMO there is soooo much wrong with this statement. I am not sure why you have embraced a cynical position, but some verbal messages need to be delivered in a focused way. Having that message carried by sounds that enhance the emotive intention makes sense. Some styles of music give muscle to certain social messages. ( I am 100% sure you know this). If you have a sense or hint that there is something you need to say, then there should be no apology made for the musical vehicle you choose.

My friends answer to making his 'best songs' is to make dubstep
