Hi,
After opening an Ableton project which was originally done on Mac I was horrified to find that all VSTi configuration had been lost!
Any channel running a plug-in was now empty and I had to load the relevant instrument back in one after another (thus defaulting them to their original sounds/presets!)
This is a major inconvenience as I will be transferring projects from this Mac computer regularly and this problem will render the information within almost unusable!
Please tell me there is a fix for this somehow! :O
All VST plug-in data lost when switching between Mac & PC!!!

Could it be that you are using "audio units" instead of "vsts" on your Mac?

Hi Palmer,
No mate, it's strictly VSTi's in use...
'Sylenth', 'Nexus', 'Predator' etc. etc.
My guess is, the problem is due to the VST path directory since this will differ between Mac and Windows.
I sincerely hope there is a solution though, as the projects are pretty useless opened elsewhere otherwise!
